Three Agora International Schools among the best in Spain according to the El Mundo 2026 ranking

Agora International School continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading educational groups in the Iberian Peninsula. In the 2026 edition of the ranking “The 100 Best Schools in Spain”, published by El Mundo, three of the group’s eight schools in Spain and Andorra once again appear among the most outstanding educational institutions in the country.

This recognition highlights the quality, academic rigour and strength of the educational project shared by Agora schools, as well as their commitment to an international, innovative education focused on the holistic development of students.

A rigorous, objective and transparent ranking

The “100 Best Schools in Spain” ranking by El Mundo has established itself as one of the main benchmarks in the education sector. Each year, specialised journalists analyse more than a thousand schools across the country through a thorough evaluation process.

The ranking is based on 27 objective criteria, grouped into three main areas.

The first is the teaching model, which assesses aspects such as the school’s educational approach, external recognition and quality standards. The second area is the educational offering, which includes variables such as the languages taught, the teaching staff, learning activities and students’ academic results. Finally, material resources are also evaluated, considering factors such as the number of students per classroom and per teacher, facilities, learning spaces and the services available.

Agora International Schools in the 2026 ranking

In this year’s edition, three schools within the Agora group have once again been recognised in the ranking.

Agora Sant Cugat International School

The school ranks as the best school in Catalonia and seventh in Spain, achieving a total score of 97 points, the highest score reached in this year’s ranking. This result reaffirms its position as one of the leading schools in the country and highlights the strength of its international educational model.

Agora Lledó International School

The school climbs two positions compared to the previous year, reaching 39th place in the ranking with 90 points out of 100. It also consolidates its position as the first and only school in the province of Castellón included in the ranking, and the second in the Valencian Community.

Agora Granada College International School

The school maintains its presence within the category of Notable Schools, with 80 points out of 100. It therefore continues to be the first school in the province of Granada included in the ranking.
